    Job Responsibilities: The candidate is expected to develop strong research program and support educational programs at undergraduate, MS, and PhD levels. A successful candidate will be expected to develop or continue to develop a strong research group with externally funded research program in computer vision/pattern recognition (CV/PR) and or related areas. Educationally, the successful candidate will develop graduate CV/PR courses as well as support UCCS programs in innovation and entrepreneurship.

    The candidate must hold, before Aug 10, 2013, a PhD in computer science or a closely related field. The candidate is expected have a strong publication record and advanced candidates are expected to have either funding and/or industry experience. As the position involves co-teaching in innovation and entrepreneurship courses, relevant experience in transitioning ideas into impact, such as industry or startups is preferred.
